As part of this cooperation, plans also include the creation, equipping, and training of emergency response teams, training volunteers in meteorology and avalanche risk management, and conducting advanced training for search and rescue teams.
According to the published information, these programs are set to be implemented in Kabul, Badakhshan, Baghlan, and Bamyan provinces to enhance the capacity to respond to natural disasters in these areas.
This memorandum is signed at a time when natural disasters in recent weeks in several Afghan provinces have caused not only loss of life but also extensive financial damages, destruction of homes, and the displacement of dozens of families.
