Bilal Arzgani has announced that police forces in Deh Rawood District of Uruzgan Province have arrested four individuals on charges of murdering a young man.
According to him, the incident occurred during Eid al-Adha festivities amid heavy crowding in the Deh Rawood market. Based on the information provided, the suspects allegedly stabbed the young man multiple times, leaving him critically injured. He was transferred to a medical center but later died from the severity of his wounds.
The spokesperson for the Uruzgan Police Command added that the suspects were identified and apprehended during a special operation following extensive investigations and sustained efforts by police forces.
Arzgani also stated that the suspects confessed to the crime during interrogation.
According to him, after the completion of the preliminary investigation process, the detainees will be referred to the relevant judicial and legal authorities for further proceedings.
