The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has stated that U.S. forces are continuing the implementation of stringent measures and a maritime blockade against Iran.
According to a CENTCOM statement, since the beginning of these measures, U.S. forces have redirected the routes of 139 commercial vessels. The statement added that these vessels complied with the issued instructions and directives.
It further noted that U.S. forces have disabled nine ships and maritime assets that violated the issued orders.
CENTCOM emphasized that operations aimed at enforcing pressure and restrictions against Iran will continue.
