A young man in the city of Jalalabad has alleged that he was attacked with a knife by a local Taliban commander.
The young man, identified as Israr Ahmad, says the incident took place in the “Khalis Familio” area of the sixth municipal district of Jalalabad city. In a video, he claims that a local Taliban commander named Qari Mateen, accompanied by his bodyguards, went to his home at around 5 p.m. on Thursday.
According to Israr Ahmad, the individuals broke the lock on his front door, entered the house, and subsequently stabbed him.
Following the incident, Israr Ahmad was transferred to a government hospital. Reports indicate that his condition is now said to be stable.
The Taliban have not yet commented on these allegations.
