The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has announced that, as a result of an armed operation in the Farahrud Highway area in Farah province, two fighters affiliated with the Taliban administration were killed. According to the Front, the incident was announced on the 19th of Sawr, but it occurred two days earlier.
So far, the Taliban administration has not responded to this claim.
The Farahrud Highway is considered one of the main transit routes in western Afghanistan, and any insecurity along it can disrupt local travel and transportation.
In recent months, anti-Taliban fronts have repeatedly reported carrying out guerrilla attacks in various provinces, indicating that security challenges continue in the country.
