Officials of the Taliban’s media office in Ghazni province say that in the Jaghori district of the province, they have seized 24 firearms of various types along with ammunition.
According to the officials, these weapons and ammunition were obtained over the past three months during various operations and inspections in this mountainous district. They added that these weapons are part of efforts to strengthen the security situation and collect illegal arms.
The office did not specify from which individuals or groups the weapons were seized, but stated that the process of collecting arms in the area is ongoing.
