The Economic Office of the Prime Minister’s Office has announced that the construction of the underground road at Baraki Square in Kabul has reached 85 percent completion, and this section of the project is expected to become operational in the near future.
According to the statement, construction work on the flyover at Baraki Square has also reached 50 percent completion, with plans for the project to be fully completed by the end of the current year.
The Economic Office stated that the flyover is 700 metres long and 20 metres wide, and that half of the construction work has already been completed.
The office further announced that the Baraki Square project is being funded by the Islamic Emirate at a cost of 1.5 billion Afghanis and has so far created employment opportunities for 1,400 people.
