The ministry of public works of the Islamic Emirate has announced that it has included 70 rehabilitation projects, with a total value of 1.419 billion Afghanis, in its work plan for the current year across all 34 provinces of the country. The projects are aimed at preserving and maintaining transport infrastructure and preventing further deterioration and damage to these facilities.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, the projects cover various components of the country’s transport infrastructure. These include the rehabilitation, preservation, and maintenance of highways and roads, as well as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
The Ministry of Public Works said the initiative is intended to preserve and improve the condition of transport infrastructure. The ministry stated that implementing these rehabilitation projects will help prevent further deterioration of highways, roads, and other related facilities, while creating better conditions for the effective use of the country’s transport infrastructure.
