On Friday, a number of human rights and civil activists protested in front of Germany’s Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) in Bonn and urged the German government to stop the deportation of Afghan asylum seekers.
The protesters also called on German authorities to end all cooperation with the Taliban and to take serious measures to protect Afghan refugees.
According to these activists, the current situation in Afghanistan exposes Afghan asylum seekers to numerous threats, and sending them back would endanger their lives.
The protesters emphasized that the international community must fulfill its responsibility regarding the human rights and safety of Afghans.
