Taliban’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Abdul Manan Omari, said at a ceremony held on the occasion of International Workers’ Day that the international community should not politicize the issue of workers.
He emphasized that workers’ problems should be resolved based on human and professional principles, rather than being used for political purposes. According to him, workers are an important segment of society, and paying attention to their rights is the responsibility of any system.
Referring to the establishment of the Workers’ Society, Omari added: “This society will serve as a reference for protecting workers’ rights” and will take practical steps to support workers and address their issues.
He also called on international organizations to cooperate in improving workers’ conditions without a political approach.
