Afrasiab Khattak, a prominent politician and one of the leaders of the National Republican Front, says that the recent deadly attack in Bannu and other casualties in the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa highlight the failure of Pakistan’s counter-terrorism policies.
He stated that the continued insecurity and the deaths of ordinary people indicate that the government has not implemented effective policies to ensure security. According to him, the current situation has caused severe concern among the people of the region.
Afrasiab Khattak emphasized that if serious and practical measures are not taken to address security problems, incidents of violence in the region will increase.
