The Taliban-appointed governor of Farah province has called for keeping the border crossings open 24 hours a day to strengthen trade between Afghanistan and Iran.
He stated that, to develop commercial relations between the two countries, it is essential for the border routes to remain active around the clock, so that the movement of goods can be faster and easier.
He also emphasized the modernization of border facilities, saying that with the provision of modern equipment, the transit process would become safer and more organized.
The governor of Farah believes that these measures could increase trade volume and further strengthen the economic ties between the two countries.
