Officials of the Afghanistan Volleyball Federation have confirmed that the national team will be unable to participate in the Central Asian regional volleyball tournament due to the failure to obtain Pakistani visas.
According to the federation, they have submitted visa applications for the national team players to the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul several times, but have not yet received a positive response.
The Central Asian regional volleyball tournament is scheduled to begin on Wednesday in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, with the participation of six countries. However, Afghanistan will not take part in the competition due to the visa issue.
