The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation of the Taliban has announced that the High Commission for Refugee Affairs, operating under the ministry, stated that on 28 Jowza, thousands of Afghan migrants returned to the country from Pakistan, and the process of supporting returnees is ongoing.
According to information from the authority, land or residential plots have so far been distributed to 47,991 returning families. Under this initiative, plots have been allocated to 1,665 individuals in Nangarhar, 577 in Faryab, 345 in Helmand, 242 in Ghazni, 212 in Balkh, 27 in Samangan, 120 in Farah, and 203 returning families in Nimroz.
The High Commission for Refugee Affairs stated that the process of providing assistance and basic facilities for returnees continues in cooperation with various institutions, and the distribution of residential plots is also progressing rapidly.
