Pakistan’s military has announced that, during several intelligence-based operations in the provinces of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15 armed individuals described by the country as “terrorists” were killed.

According to Pakistani media outlet Dawn, citing the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), these individuals were targeted in multiple intelligence-led operations.

The report states that eight “terrorists” were killed in two separate operations in Balochistan, while seven others were killed in the Bannu region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

It adds that the Balochistan operations were carried out on June 25 and 26, while the Bannu operation took place last Friday.

These developments come amid a recent attack on a Pakistan Rangers camp involving a vehicle-borne explosive device. Reports indicate that at least three Pakistani police officers were killed in the incident.
