The polio vaccination campaign in the provinces of Helmand, Uruzgan, Kandahar, and several other provinces has been postponed until further notice.
Reliable sources have stated that, alongside the suspension of the campaign, supervisors and coordinators have also been instructed to immediately halt and suspend all training programs and related activities.
The reason for the postponement has not yet been officially disclosed. However, according to public health sources, a decision regarding the next phase of the campaign will be made at a later date.
