The Ministry of Defense of the Taliban announced that last night it carried out airstrikes targeting “ISIS-affiliated centers” in two provinces of Pakistan, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Ministry of Defense, claiming responsibility for the strikes against ISIS centers in Pakistan, stated that these facilities were being used reportedly with the support of certain intelligence networks to plan attacks against Afghan territory, and that some previous deadly attacks had also been organized from there.
The Ministry further stated that “important and high-value targets” were hit in these operations.
In its statement, the Ministry of Defense said: “From now on, Afghanistan will not allow any kind of threat or danger to its security and stability and will suppress it at the source using all available means.”
So far, Pakistani authorities or independent sources have not commented on these strikes or any possible casualties.
