The UK Ministry of Defence has announced that three members of the Royal Navy have died following the crash of a helicopter near the Surtan area in Devon.
In a statement, the ministry said the incident occurred on June 3, shortly before 4 a.m., during a training exercise.
A Royal Navy spokesperson confirmed with deep regret that three service members lost their lives in the incident. Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
