U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that American forces have attacked facilities related to Iran’s missile stockpiles, drones, and coastal radar installations, warning that if necessary, the Iranian issue will be resolved militarily.
In a post on his social media platform “Truth Social,” Trump wrote that there may come a time when rational engagement is no longer possible, and the United States may be forced to complete the operations it has begun through military means. He threatened that in such a scenario, the Islamic Republic of Iran would cease to exist.
Previously, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) also stated in a press release that, on the orders of the Commander-in-Chief, American forces had carried out fresh strikes on several targets in Iran, including military surveillance facilities, communications infrastructure, drones, and other military installations.
Meanwhile, Republican Senator Jim Banks, in an interview with Fox News, said that if Tehran does not comply with its commitments under the agreement, the United States will continue its bombing campaign.
These recent remarks by Trump, CENTCOM, and Senator Jim Banks come at a time when tensions between Washington and Tehran remain high, with the United States continuing to warn of increased military and political pressure on Iran.
