The Department of the Sacred Cloak in Kandahar says that a number of Chinese tourists who had traveled to Kandahar for tourism embraced Islam following efforts by the department.
According to the department, the group consists of 12 people in total, including seven men and five women.
The source added that the Chinese tourists who embraced Islam are between 37 and 71 years old.
According to the Department of the Sacred Cloak, the tourists learned about Islam during their visit to Kandahar and subsequently decided to embrace the religion.
