The human rights organization Hengaw has reported that Iranian authorities have executed three individuals, including an Afghan national, at Yazd Central Prison.
According to the organization, 27-year-old Noor Jalal, a resident of Badghis province, was executed in the early hours of Wednesday at Yazd Central Prison.
Hengaw added that he had been arrested approximately two years ago on drug-related charges and was later sentenced to death by Iranian courts.
The report states that Noor Jalal was executed alongside two other prisoners; however, Iranian authorities have not yet issued any official statement regarding the incident.
