The White House has unveiled a new design for the U.S. passport, titled “Patriot Passport,” in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States’ independence. This move is part of official events to commemorate America’s Independence Day.
According to U.S. officials, this passport will be issued in a limited edition and will be specially released by the U.S. Department of State. The new design maintains the usual security features of U.S. passports while incorporating new elements.
In the updated version, an image of Donald Trump, the former U.S. president, is included on one of the internal pages. Additionally, reports indicate that symbols related to American independence have also been featured in the interior design.
U.S. officials have stated that the passport will be made available to applicants at the same time as the Independence Day celebrations. Further details regarding the distribution timeline and the total number of copies have not yet been fully disclosed.
