Islamabad has intensified its diplomatic efforts to accelerate peace talks between the United States and Iran. According to reports, Pakistan’s Army Chief, Asim Munir, traveled to Tehran to mediate and help create conditions for the resumption and progress of negotiations between the two countries.
Pakistani officials say that Islamabad is in contact with various parties in an effort to normalize relations between Washington and Tehran and to speed up the negotiation process.
Meanwhile, Iranian sources have stated that Iran’s Supreme Leader has ordered that the enriched uranium, which is close to weapons-grade level, must not be transferred out of the country. This issue is considered one of the main demands of the United States and a major obstacle in the negotiation process.
On the other hand, Donald Trump warned that if appropriate responses are not received, the United States will take practical action soon. He said, “If we do not receive the right answers, the situation could change very quickly.”
At the same time, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard also threatened that if Iran is attacked again, the conflict will not remain limited to the region but will expand on a broader scale.
