Local sources in Nimroz province say that the bodies of two young men have been found in Delaram district.
Sources told the media that the body of a young man identified as “Eml Khan” was found yesterday afternoon (Monday, September 1) in the “Khali Namro” area of Delaram district.
According to the sources, in a similar incident in the district, the body of another young man, identified as “Qudratullah,” was found on a hill near “Shah Bazaar.”
A local source said that Eml Khan and Qudratullah were “mysteriously” killed.
Local Taliban authorities in Nimroz have not yet commented on the killings.
Although there are no specific annual statistics on mysterious killings, several such cases are reported every week from different parts of Afghanistan. In most cases, the Taliban do not provide the public with information about the investigation or the outcome of these incidents.
