In a statement released on Friday, 18th of Sawr, the club said that its internal investigation into the matter had concluded, and the management decided to fine each player €500,000.

According to reports, Valverde and Tchouaméni got into an altercation during training on Thursday. Tchouaméni reportedly struck Valverde on the head, forcing him to go to the hospital and causing him to miss the crucial El Clásico match against Barcelona.

So far, Real Madrid has not imposed any suspensions on the two players. Reports indicate that Tchouaméni participated in Friday’s training and may also play in the upcoming match against Barcelona.

The club stated that both players have apologized to each other, the club, teammates, and fans.

This incident comes as Real Madrid sits second in La Liga, 11 points behind Barcelona. A victory for Barcelona in Sunday night’s El Clásico would secure the league title.
