The Taliban’s Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice and Complaints has stated that it has rescued 39 women from domestic violence in six provinces of the country.
The ministry said in a press release that it has provided these women with the necessary facilities to secure their rights and live safely. According to the press release, the ministry’s officials have addressed cases related to family disputes and domestic violence, and have tried to protect women’s rights.
The Taliban have not disclosed the names of these provinces or further details of the incidents, but they said they will continue their efforts to prevent domestic violence and resolve family issues.
