At least Four Killed and 38 Injured in Train Collision in Jakarta
In a train collision in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, at least four people have been killed and 38 others injured.
International media reported on Monday night, April 27, that the incident occurred in the city of Bekasi, near Jakarta.
Indonesian railway officials have stated that the accident took place between a commuter train and a long-distance passenger train at Bekasi station.
Authorities have confirmed that all 240 passengers on the long-distance train are safe, but the exact number of passengers on the other train is not yet confirmed.
Meanwhile, investigations have begun to determine the cause of the collision, and passenger services on this route have been disrupted until further notice.
