The Taliban’s ambassador to China, Bilal Karimi, met with Fu Xiaoqiang, the head of that country’s CIIS research center, to discuss research cooperation, the Wakhan Corridor, and the expansion of regional cooperation.

The Taliban embassy in China wrote on its X account today, Saturday (23 Jowza/June), that during the meeting, emphasis was placed on strengthening relations and cooperation based on mutual trust and respect.

According to the Taliban, the two sides also discussed the expansion of regional cooperation and the coordination of joint efforts between scientific and research centers. Both sides also expressed hope that such scientific and research meetings would further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
