Local sources in Afghanistan’s Samangan Province say that on Tuesday evening, a jewelry shop in the Kholm District of the province was targeted in an armed robbery by unidentified individuals.
According to these sources, two armed men wearing clothing similar to Taliban uniforms entered the market and, after threatening the shop owner, took away a significant amount of gold.

Local sources added that the amount of stolen gold is estimated to be around two kilograms, although the exact figure has not yet been officially confirmed.
Residents and several shopkeepers have expressed concern over the increase in such incidents and called for stronger security measures in crowded marketplaces.
