The head of Information and Culture of the Taliban in Helmand province, Hafiz Rashid, said that three armed robbers were killed in the jurisdiction of Garshak district during a clash with Taliban forces.
Hafiz Rashid wrote on his page on Sunday that these individuals had carried out an armed attack on an exchange office in Garshak district and had stolen money at gunpoint. According to him, two civilians were also injured during the incident.
He added that the Taliban forces launched an operation to apprehend the robbers, but the robbers offered armed resistance, resulting in all three being killed.
