Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban, announced on Saturday that Jumakhan Fateh, the group’s former district governor in Nesi, is set to stand trial.
Mujahid said there are currently no further details available about the case, as the case file and charges against Jumakhan Fateh must first be completed and then submitted to the relevant judicial authorities.
He added that once the case has been prepared and the charges established, the matter will be referred to the appropriate judicial authorities for review and legal proceedings.
The Taliban spokesperson did not provide further details about the exact date of the trial or the specific charges brought against the group’s former district governor.
