Summary

The first laboratory for testing electric meters in Logar province has officially started operating.

The Logar Electricity Directorate has announced that this modern laboratory was built at a cost of 50,000 US dollars. According to Mir Ahmad Wali Hashimi, head of Logar Electricity, from now on, technical inspections of single-phase, simple three-phase, and current three-phase meters will be conducted within the province itself.

Officials say that with the launch of this laboratory, residents of Logar will no longer need to travel to Kabul or Paktia provinces for meter inspections. This initiative is expected to make access to technical services easier for citizens.

Previously, traveling to other provinces for meter inspections was both costly and time-consuming. Now, with the activation of this center, it is expected that technical problem resolution will be faster and electricity services in the province will be delivered more efficiently.
