Officials of the Pul-e-Khumri Pole Manufacturing Factory have announced that the factory currently supplies about 60 percent of Afghanistan’s demand for electricity poles. According to them, the factory’s products play an important role in advancing electrification projects and developing the country’s energy infrastructure.
The factory’s officials say that if greater support and investment are provided, the plant’s production capacity will increase significantly, enabling a large portion of the country’s domestic demand to be met through local production.
They also emphasized that expanding the factory’s operations could create employment opportunities for more citizens and reduce the country’s dependence on imported electricity poles.
