Following a collision between two Toyota Corolla vehicles in Hazrat Sultan District of Samangan Province, three people were killed and seven others were injured.
Hashmatullah Rahmani, spokesperson for the Taliban’s provincial police command in Samangan, said that the injured individuals were transferred to the provincial hospital to receive medical treatment, and that their treatment is ongoing.
According to Rahmani, investigations into the incident are still underway, with initial findings indicating that driver negligence was the cause of the crash.
The spokesperson of the Taliban’s police command in Samangan urged drivers to comply with traffic laws and regulations in order to prevent similar incidents in the future.
