Summary

The Taliban’s Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates has announced that on Thursday, 1,015 Afghan families returned to the country from Iran and Pakistan, totaling 5,355 individuals.

In a statement released on Friday, the ministry mentioned that these refugees entered Afghanistan through various borders, including Spin Boldak in Kandahar, Torkham in Nangarhar, Islam Qala in Herat, and Shahi Pul in Nimroz.

Meanwhile, the process of repatriation, especially from Pakistan, has accelerated. Reports indicate that the expulsion of refugees from Pakistan has intensified, and every day a large number of Afghans are being forcibly returned to their homeland.

This situation has raised concerns about the human rights of the refugees and the living conditions of the returnees.
