The Afghanistan Cricket Board on Monday announced a 15-member national squad for a three-match T20 series against India.
According to the squad announcement, Ibrahim Zadran has been appointed captain, while Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Noor-ul-Haq have been included as wicketkeepers.
The squad also includes Sediqullah Atal, Darwish Rasooli, Azmatullah Omarzai, Gulbadin Naib, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Nangeyalia Kharote, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Noor Ahmad Lakanwal, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Abdullah Ahmadzai.
Shahidullah Kamal, Fareed Ahmad Malik, and Ejaz Ahmadzai have been named as reserve players.
The three T20 matches between Afghanistan and India are scheduled to be played on September 13, 15, and 17 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
The Afghanistan national team will travel to India for training and preparations ahead of the series.
