On the opening day of the Afghanistan Shpageeza Cricket League, the teams Amo Sharks and Mis Ainak Heroes defeated their respective opponents.
In the first match, Amo Sharks won the toss and elected to bowl first. Spin Ghar Tigers scored 167 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, setting a target of 168 runs for Amo Sharks.
Amo Sharks successfully chased down the target in 17.2 overs, losing only two wickets, and defeated Spin Ghar Tigers by 8 wickets.
In the second match, Bost Defenders won the toss and opted to bat first. They scored 177 runs for the loss of 7 wickets, setting a target of 178 runs for Mis Ainak Heroes.
Mis Ainak Heroes produced an impressive chase, reaching the target in the final over while losing 7 wickets and defeating Bost Defenders by 3 wickets.
As a result, the opening day of the Shpageeza League concluded with victories for Amo Sharks and Mis Ainak Heroes.
