On Monday, June 22, the Xinhua News Agency reported that China’s Ministry of Commerce announced the addition of 10 U.S. entities to its export control watchlist under relevant export control regulations.
According to the decision, Chinese domestic companies are prohibited from exporting any goods or technology to the entities and firms included on the list and are required to comply with the new restrictions.
The list includes several major U.S. companies operating in the fields of technology, aerospace, and related industries, which are now subject to the new trade limitations.
This move comes amid rising trade tensions and technological competition between China and the United States in recent years, as both countries seek to restrict each other’s access to sensitive technologies.
