The Governor of Herat, in a phone conversation with the Governor of Khorasan Razavi, discussed issues related to the joint committee between the two bordering provinces. During the conversation, both sides discussed increasing facilities for the transportation of goods and resolving transit issues along trade routes, emphasizing further coordination between responsible authorities on both sides of the border.
In the conversation, the Governor of Herat mentioned the existing problems in trade routes and announced that facilities had been provided for the passage of Iranian trucks. Efforts are being made to reduce obstacles in the movement of goods. He also emphasized the necessity of removing existing restrictions in the transit process.
The Governor of Khorasan Razavi also expressed his readiness for joint cooperation in resolving transit issues and improving trade through the Dogharoun and Islam Qala crossings. He stressed the importance of expanding border cooperation to facilitate the movement of goods.
