Indian-origin astronaut Anil Menon has arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) and is expected to remain aboard the facility for approximately eight days, at an altitude of 400 kilometers above Earth.
During his stay, Anil Menon will conduct research in the fields of science and technology. In his first message, he described viewing Earth from space as an unparalleled experience, saying that the beauty of the planet is beyond description.
His mission is considered a new step forward in the field of space research.
