Dmitry Medvedev has stated that Moscow has no information suggesting that Iran is seeking to acquire nuclear weapons. He made this comment within the context of Russia’s recent positions on international developments.
Medvedev also mentioned that Russia’s relationship with Donald Trump is pragmatic, and he evaluated this type of interaction as positive. According to him, such an approach could help reduce tensions in certain areas.
In another part of his remarks, he described the state of relations between Russia and Europe as “very critical” and claimed that several Western countries are directly involved in the conflict with Russia. These statements come amid ongoing political tensions between Moscow and the West.
Medvedev also accused the leadership of the European Union of being incapable of decision-making and adopting short-term policies, stating that the level of distrust between the two sides will remain high even after the conflict ends.
He further warned that the possibility of nuclear scenarios still exists and spoke about the presence of advanced weaponry in Russia, of which no public information has been released.
In conclusion, the Russian official emphasized that the current state of relations between Moscow and the West is one of the most complex political periods in recent years and remains accompanied by serious tensions.
