The General Directorate of Police Affairs in the Ministry of Interior under the Taliban has announced that 243 vehicles without legal documents have been prevented from entering Kabul city.
According to this body, 126 other vehicles have been seized within the city and transferred to police stations.
Officials have stated that this action was taken with the aim of ensuring urban security and preventing illegal activities.
At the same time, some citizens of Kabul have expressed concerns about the transparency of the document verification process and the manner in which drivers are treated in similar cases.
Urban affairs experts emphasize that ensuring security must be accompanied by respect for citizens’ rights and the establishment of a clear mechanism for addressing complaints.
