Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced the opening of the Third Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi Exhibition in Mazar-e-Sharif, aimed at supporting domestic production, promoting national industries, attracting investment, and showcasing the country’s manufacturing capabilities.
According to the ministry, the exhibition was organized in cooperation with Masih Mohammadi Exhibition Services Company and inaugurated in the presence of local officials from Balkh province, industrialists, and business representatives. The event features Afghan-made products displayed across 170 exhibition booths.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce described the exhibition as an opportunity to highlight the capabilities of domestic manufacturers, stating that it is being held as part of broader efforts to develop national industries, strengthen local production, and advance Afghanistan’s industrial self-sufficiency.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Deputy Governor of Balkh also underscored the importance of supporting domestic production and called on Afghan investors living abroad to invest in the country to help strengthen the economy, expand industries, and create employment opportunities.
According to the ministry, the Third Mawlana Exhibition will be open to the public from 11 to 13 July at the Almas Hotel in Mazar-e-Sharif.
