Afghan girl wins first place in Harmony schools’ art competition in the United States.

Moqaddas Mohibi, an Afghan student living in the United States, won first place in the Harmony Schools Visual Arts Competition and demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the various stages of the contest.

In the first round of the competition, Mohibi’s artwork was selected as the best painting at the school level, earning her the title of winner of the painting category at Harmony Science Academy Carrollton.

Following this achievement, her artwork advanced to the North Texas regional competition, where it was recognized as the best painting among submissions from students of various Harmony schools, winning the top secondary-level painting award in North Texas.

Her artwork then advanced to the final statewide round of the competition. The event brought together students from more than 60 Harmony schools across Texas, including winners from the earlier stages.

In the final round, Mohibi’s artwork was chosen as the best overall piece in the competition, and she earned the highest honor of the event:Grand Art champion of Harmony public school System.

Mohibi’s achievements have not been limited to the arts. She has also excelled academically, earning a place on the AB Honor Roll in recognition of her outstanding academic performance and excellent grades.

The Afghan student has also distinguished herself in programs focused on Saience, Technology,Engineering,Arts,and Mathematics(STEAM), as well as project-based learning. Her science project was selected as the best project at her school, and she received the STEAM Cup in recognition of her creativity, innovation, and scientific accomplishments.

Mohibi’s achievements serve as an example of the success of Afghan students in international educational environments and demonstrate how access to education and equal opportunities can help nurture and develop scientific, cultural, and artistic talents.
