The Kabul Municipality, under the Taliban administration, has announced that it has constructed and commissioned six pedestrian overpasses in various parts of the city to improve urban order, reduce traffic congestion, and help prevent road accidents.
According to municipal officials, the overpasses have been built to ensure the safe movement of pedestrians and are expected to facilitate smoother traffic flow for both vehicles and pedestrians in some of the city’s busiest areas.
The officials further stated that four additional pedestrian overpasses are scheduled to be installed and opened to the public in densely populated areas in the near future.
