An 8-kilometer road in the Germsir district of Helmand province has been completed and inaugurated.
According to the Germsir Municipality, this road was constructed in the Hazarjft market at a cost of 7,827,760 Afghanis and was opened with the presence of several Taliban officials.
Mullah Mohammad Masoom Masoomi, the Taliban-appointed mayor of Germsir, stated that the completion of this project will reduce traffic problems for local residents and shopkeepers in the area.
Helmand province is one of the regions that has suffered significant damage to its infrastructure in recent years. While there have been reports of some reconstruction projects in the province, details about the budget allocation and the oversight process of these projects have not been clearly provided.
